Tables turned?

Don’t you find it strange when a group extols the virtues of attacking (I’m using the term loosely) their opponents, but when the exact same tactics are used against them they cry foul?

Democrats outraged as anti-Cuomo troll uses Maxine Waters quote that had targeted Trump aides

I love this quote by New York City Council Speaker Corey Johnson (via twitter):

“This sort of targeting and incitement is simply wrong, and totally unacceptable.”

Unless, of course, it is initiated by one of their own….!

Here’s more on this story from Bronson Stocking at Townhall.com:

Democrats Outraged at Maxine Waters’ Comments…They Just Don’t Know She Said Them

WHO cares?

Let’s face it: WHO is the lapdog of the Chinese Communist party:

Top WHO Official: It’s ‘Definitely Too Early’ to Conclude Coronavirus Originated in China

I love this quote (from the article linked above):

“Our team are on the ground, they’re having a good experience working with our Chinese colleagues.”

Really? Even after China locked out WHO investigators, preventing their research into the origins of the virus?

Some have questioned WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom‘s impartiality in this investigation, given China’s large investment in his home country. The withdrawal of Chinese funds from Ethiopia would have a devastating effect on its economy.

Sit, Ubu, sit! Good dog. Whoa – get off my leg!

Interesting point

This article on the Townhall web site (a bit right of center for me, but I like their political cartoons) made an interesting point regarding how teachers haven’t returned to the classroom:

They’re the only group of essential workers that get the luxury of staying home. Doctors, nurses, EMTs, cops and firefighters still show up.

Could also be that they like working from the beach

Vaccinate them

Then they’ll have no more excuses to avoid going back to work:

Chicago Teachers Union panned for music video using interpretive dance to demand ‘safe’ return to schools

Why the hell haven’t they already been vaccinated, anyway? Our economy has no hope of getting back to normal if schools don’t reopen. It’s well-known within disaster recover programs that schools are a top priority (so that parents can go back to work). Make teachers a vaccination priority and let’s get them back in the classroom! After all, someone has to pay for Biden’s great $1.9T COVID-19 giveaway…

You go, girl!

The ongoing assault on Republicans and conservatives continues, with the Washington Post leading the way:

Washington Post columnist slammed for claiming ‘many conservatives’ offended by Harriet Tubman on $20 bill

It’s general statements like this, unsupported by the facts, that are being used by the left to paint the right as racist and intolerant. Do I need to remind you (again) that it was Republicans who freed the slaves? That is was Democrats who fought against integration? The fact is that many Republicans would welcome an opportunity to honor a “…gun-toting Republican who fought for freedom in defiance of the laws of a government that refused to recognize her rights.”

Count me in!

Uncommon sense prevails

No more “My Internet doctor says I’m too crazy to fly without my dog” program at Southwest:

Southwest to ban emotional support animals

Service animals allowed on flights will be limited to dogs that are individually trained to do work or perform tasks for individuals with disabilities

I’m all for allowing trained service animals to travel freely with their owners. But just because you can’t bear to leave your dog at home doesn’t mean they should fly for free (or roam the cabin at will).
